Bob Waldrop

Bro. Bob Waldrop loves to hear praise and music from God’s people.  “Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that give thanks to His name.”  Hebrews 13:15.

Bob was called into the ministry when he was eighteen.  He received his Bachelor of Church Music Degree from Samford University and his Master of Church Music Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  He is a licensed and ordained minister.

He is married to Sandy Horton Waldrop.  They have two daughters, Melody Echols of Decatur and Celeste Cook of Winfield, and four grandchildren. Bro. Bob & Sandy have served churches in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, Louisiana and Georgia for 50 years.

Bro. Bob retired from full-time Ministry at First Baptist Church, Haleyville, Alabama. He holds the position of  Worship Leader at First Baptist Church Austinville. The music bar is Bro. Bob playing the piano at First Baptist Austinville.
